The urban transport was presented at the international conference «City Transport Conference 2019» in the Portuguese city Aveiro. The British Institute of Technology of Wessex (WIT) was the event's organizer, with professors Santiago Hernandez and Stavros Syngellakis as initiators.
The problems of development and optimization of urban transport networks in modern cities in Europe, Asia and Africa, as well as environmental issues related to the transport industry, were the subject of discussion at the conference. The conference was attended by commercial and scientific organizations from all over the world, engaged in research in the field of urban transport and logistics.
The report on the string transport was delivered by Maria Dunayeva, an analyst of CJSC "String Technologies" Projects Department. In the report, entitled «Innovative SkyWay Technology for Smart Cities», Maria spoke about the particularities and advantages of the SkyWay technology. In addition to the report, CJSC «String Technologies», presented at the conference its stand, dedicated to the SkyWay transport system.
.As the result of the conference, there will be issued a collection of Vol. 186 of the WIT Transactions on the Built Environment (ISSN 1743-3509). The conference reports will also be published in the public domain at Wessex Institute Digital Library. The scientific work of the representative of CJSC «String Technologies» will be included both in the printed edition and in the digital library. 30% of the reports will be included in the International Journal of Transport Development and Integration.
