CEO of uSky Transport Sergei Tarasov has, by invitation of Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park), attended event organized by the UAE Ministry of Economy in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

This event was dedicated to the launch of the “Unlocking the Use Of IP-Rich Intangible Assets: A Pathway to Securing Financing Project in the United Arab Emirates” project, which provides innovative companies in the country with financing options through the use of intellectual property as collateral.

As this project develops in stages, a training programme will be developed and implemented for small and medium-sized companies as well as individual start-ups. This programme aims to improve understanding of intellectual property management and to identify methodologies for valuing intellectual property to obtain funding

«Intellectual Property (IP) plays a crucial role for innovative companies like uSky Transport, which being involved in the transportation industry, relies heavily on innovative technologies and unique solutions to differentiate itself in the market. The company's intangible assets, which include IP-rich innovations, patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, provide several benefits, competitive advantaged, and protection for its innovative technologies and ideas. They help uSky Transport to safeguard its unique ideas and inventions, attract investment, and establish a strong market position.

Additionally, IP-rich intangible assets enable the company to generate revenue through licensing and partnerships while deterring competitors from infringing on its innovations. In general, these assets are necessary for the successful and sustainable operation of uSky Transport in a highly competitive and rapidly developing transportation industry», — says Sergey Tarasov, CEO of uSky Transport.
