Measures to change the purpose of the transport infrastructure complex « Unilite» from freight to passenger are proceeding according to schedule. UST Inc. engineers will soon conduct electrical safety tests on the Unimobile and confirm the cabin's design parameters.

The planned tests should confirm the correctness of our solutions», — the Head of the «Electrical Equipment» Design Bureau Mikhail Yudenok said.
According to the Company's specialists, the focus was placed on fire safety of the Unimobile. Thus, the electrical equipment of the rail electric vehicle uses materials and components that do not support combustion and meet all the requirements stated in the calculations. The traction module is equipped with an automatic fire extinguishing system. All fire hazardous equipment is placed in special metal cabinets.
