Philippine princess at the Testing Centre in Sharjah

H.E. Princess of the Philippines Anne Shek has visited the String Transport Testing Centre in Sharjah. She was accompanied by Executive Director of PT Philippines Antiviral Indonesia Mr Mario Pacurso and Mr Thomas Yang, Advisor to the Office of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum. Here are the highlights of this event.

On their tour of the Centre, the guests were particularly impressed by the tropical Unicar. As a reminder, this is a string transport model equipped with a luxury comfort level salon and designed to operate in tropical climates with temperatures up to 55 ℃.

The guests also visited the dispatch station, where the software and hardware that is specifically designed for the string transport control are on display.

In addition, the guests' attention was attracted by the high-speed model of the string transport, which is designed for long-distance and international routes with speeds of up to 500 km/h. This model was first presented at the InnoTrans exhibition in Berlin.

Another important part of the event was a string transport presentation, where the delegates got to know more about the advantages of the technology and how it can be implemented in the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand. On their part, the Centre's representatives declared their readiness to implement commercial projects in these countries.
