Specialists of Unitsky String Technologies Inc. have developed a new storage battery for the string transport. The accumulator will be able to withstand up to 5000 charge-discharge cycles. For comparison, the battery life of a conventional electric car is about 1000 cycles.
The Head of the design bureau «Electric drive» Ilya Zhagalsky notes that this is a fundamentally new development. Such a product did not exist on the market, so the team of Unitsky String Technologies Inc. decided to develop its own system that would suit the string transport.
The main advantages of the new battery is a low level of self-heating, protection from external temperature influences, high safety for humans and the environment. All these characteristics will help to make the string transport even more efficient and durable.
