A delegation from the European Women's Association «EWA» has visited Sharjah Research and Technology Park (SRTI Park) to discuss new business and innovation opportunities. The association represents Sweden, France, Germany, Belgium, Austria and other countries.
The meeting with the delegation was conducted by SRTI Park CEO Hussain Al Mahmoudi. He told the guests that the Park is a cutting-edge transportation and logistics centre with companies that are leaders in innovation. One of such companies is Unitsky String Technologies Inc.
The 280,000 м² Unitsky String Technologies, Inc. Centre is the largest renter in SRTI Park. Now, the construction of new string tracks and transport testing is underway in this territory. A total of over $14 million has already been invested in the development of the Centre.
Today, Unitsky String Technologies Inc.'s technology for urban and freight transportation is ready to hit the market. The main commercial advantage of the project is low cost of construction and operation compared to competitors.
A representative of the company that is developing the string transport in the UAE also spoke at the meeting to explain the details of the project and answer the delegates' questions. The audience appreciated the presentation and showed great interest in the technology.
