The specialists of Unitsky String Technologies, Inc. have tested the moisture resistance of Unibus. The transport was tested in Belarus on the territory of the EcoTechnoPark. We are sharing the highlights of this event.
To conduct the tests, the company's engineers created a special high-pressure watering device. It simulates a tropical rainfall.
Unibus is protected from moisture by a drainage system. Lead design engineer Igor Cherepanov explains how this system works:
«The drainage system is under the door and is virtually invisible. A special water barrier collects water and holds it so that it does not flow into the cabin, but through the threshold into the drainage pipes and under the cabin».
Testing has shown that the Unibus's drainage is fully up to the task. In addition, the experts found out how to make the system even more efficient. That is why the drainage system will be upgraded and tested again in the future.
