On the Construction Week website, there has been published an article with the headline «Unitsky String Technologies Has Completed the First Phase of the Passenger String Track Construction in Sharjah». The material is based on the recent press conference at the UST, Inc. Centre.
According to reporters, the string transport project has moved from the «innovation» and «venture capital» stages to the «investment business» stage. This means that the technology is now ready for commercial implementation. That said, testing of the string transport will still continue in order to prepare for its mass introduction next year.
The achievement of the project was commented on by the founder of UST, Inc. Anatoli Unitsky:
«This is a key milestone in our development. «...» We are demonstrating the agility, versatility and capability that our cost-effective rail-string technology can bring to destinations».
The authors concluded by noting that the company plans to increase its portfolio of potential commercial projects up to 10 by the end of 2022. As a reminder: according to Anatoli Unitsky, at least three contracts may be signed before the end of this year.
