That is why the SkyWay's construction in Sharjah has been suspended to implement a stronger joint under the current legislation and to ensure a longer service life for the overpass.
Vyacheslav Babushkin, Head of the «Transport Overpass» Design Bureau, has described the testing of bolted joints in the SkyWay steel structures.
