In June, SkyWay announced the transition to the automated production system. The introduction of industry 4.0 – is an important step towards a new technological mode in the industry. The digitalization program will allow to coordinate the work of all structural units and to automate the production to the maximum:

In August, at the annual EcoFest festival, the SkyWay General Designer Anatoliy Yunitskiy spoke about the achieved results and plans for the project development. The festival gathered a record audience:
«The Ecofest 2018 was followed online by more than 40 thousand people. For 5 thousand guests who visited the EcoTechnoPark this year, there was arranged a large-scale test drive for the first time, within the framework of which all elements of the string transport complex were working without failures and stops all day long.
September was memorable due to the presentation of the high-speed Unibus at the international transport exhibition Innotrans in Berlin:
«…Unibus, the flagship of the Skyway transport – is designed to move at speed of up to 500 km/h. Its futuristic shape – is the result of the company engineers' work on the aerodynamics of the vehicle. The innovative module will be tested in the United Arab Emirates.
