The uSky Testing and Certification Center is in the final stages of work on a transport flyover with a semi-rigid track structure. Engineers at UST Inc. are currently preparing to install a dead end section that will allow the unimobiles to launch from ground level.

The structure is a suspended bi-rail track structure of girder type. It will connect the passenger boarding platform and the passage section of the anchor support, which are located at different elevations. The dead-end area will be used for hanging, commissioning, inspection and maintenance of unimobiles.

«All components of the structure meet the specified requirements of durability and reliability. For example, the site is designed for more than 2 million load cycles, and the service life is 50 years for a given frequency of traffic. At the same time, the simplicity of the design of this section makes it possible to significantly reduce the costs of construction and maintenance of the track structure as a whole», –- said the chief designer of the UST Inc. high-speed transport complex Vitaly Lapkovsky.

All elements of the section are designed and produced in accordance with modern safety requirements. This minimizes the possibility of malfunctions during its operation. In addition, the design of the track structure is filled with a noise-absorbing mixture, which provides additional safety and comfort of the trip. These advantages allow to use the section as part of uST complexes in urban areas, suburbs, as well as park areas.

Let us remind you, that the heavy-type rail and string flyover is designed to move unimobiles weighing more than 30 tons. It will allow the 25-seater unibus, which can be assembled into trains with a capacity of up to 75 people, and the fifth-generation suspended unicont with a load capacity of up to 30.5 tons to reach higher speeds.
