Innovation uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology is generating keen interest in UAE business circles. This time, the uSky Testing and Certification Centre was visited by Bancs Managing Director Mr. W. Shaun Davis and Alghyath Group Chairman Mr. Abdulraoof Alghyath.
Anatoli Unitsky, the general designer and founder of uSky Transport, personally accompanied the distinguished guests, told about the infrastructure technologies created and answered any questions they might have. He paid particular attention to the uSky Transport office, which was the starting point of the tour. During the tour, the guests saw a working model of a linear city with integrated uSky transport and infrastructure complexes.
Delegates then took a ride in a certified tropical uCar, which is designed for urban and intercity transportation and adapted for hot countries with a maximum operating temperature of up to +55 °C. During the test drive, guests were able to see and feel the exceptional reliability and incredible comfort of the electric vehicle.
The General Designer also told visitors that in addition to the models presented, uSky Transport has a set of unified design and technological elements of transport and infrastructure complexes developed by the parent engineering company UST Inc. They enable to solve various logistical problems in the field of urban and intercity passenger and cargo transportation. Among the latter, a special place is occupied by uCont — an unmanned electric vehicle designed to transport 20ft and 40ft cargo containers at speeds of up to 120km/h.
The uSky freight lines will be able to carry up to 100 million tonnes of cargo per year and will have a number of advantages over traditional freight transport systems:
- working in areas with difficult and/or challenging terrain, water barriers, loose soils, etc;
- laying the road by the shortest route;
- high eco-friendliness;
- high energy efficiency;
- low track structure and infrastructure costs;
- fully automatic handling operations, etc.
Closer to the end of the meeting, Anatoli Unitsky invited guests to take a look at the test track No. 1 with a 400 m long flexible string-rail flyover. It has been in pilot operation since 2021. The visit of businessmen to the uSky Testing and Certification Center ended with a constructive and positive dialogue. Drawing upon their vast experience, delegates were able to appreciate the uSky Transport & Infrastructure Technology and its future prospects.
Sharing the desire of potential partners to actively expand their business horizons, uSky Transport is ready to make its technology available for creation of innovative transport complexes.
