José Agüero Avila, Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay to the UAE, has visited the Testing Centre in Sharjah. The diplomat is interested in new technologies for his country and is in search of reliable partners, one of which could be the string transport project.
On the tour, the Ambassador and other delegates took a test drive on the certified tropical Unicar. What the guests liked most was the design of the transport and its comfortable interior.
After the ride, the delegates went to the pavilion where the high-speed model of the string transport is on display. This vehicle can reach speeds of up to 500km/h outside the city, seats 6 people and is equipped with a multimedia system.
The guests were particularly interested in the cargo string transport, which is capable of transporting up to 100 million tons of cargo per year, even in areas with difficult terrain, water obstacles and massive buildings.
The delegates also visited the office of the company that is developing the project in the Middle East. The courtyard of this building has its own ecosystem with plants, birds, a small pond and bees. Such buildings could be used in a new type of cluster settlements — a linear city.
