What the container depot at the Sharjah Testing Centre will look like

The company, which is developing the string transport in the UAE, has published images with visualisations of the container depot for test track 2 in Sharjah.

As a reminder: the line is planned for testing a cargo model of the string transport to transport 40ft and 20ft containers at speeds of up to 100km/h. According to The National, that will take place in December 2022 or January 2023.

There are being concreted slabs at the container depot now. At the opposite station, the main construction work has already been completed. Next, the contractors have to install the rails and complete the finishes.
