The partners — finalists of the first stage of the SWC CHAMPIONS CHALLENGE competition marathon were entertained and educated in Turkey.
Over 7 days, 25 partners from Kyrgyzstan, the Dominican Republic, Spain, Russia, Slovakia, Estonia and the Netherlands visited iconic sites in Istanbul, exchanged experiences and participated in the business part of the programme.
For the Vietnamese winners, there will be a separate prize tour to Belarus in September at their request. The winners from Nigeria could not attend due to visa issues, so they will join the winners of the second tour of SWC CHAMPIONS CHALLENGE in the Dominican Republic.
«We reward the highest performing, most effective partners, the true leaders who shape the SWC community. "The Gold Tour is not just an activity. It is about bringing strong partners together, communicating and sharing experiences. I experienced that myself during those unforgettable days. The finalists not only experienced vibrant emotions, but also developed in a strong circle of people, and, of course, pumped up their professional competencies in order to achieve even better results»— shared Alexey Sukhodoyev, representative of the SWC Board.
The main part of the tour was dedicated to cultural exploration of Istanbul: partners visited Çamlıca Mosque, Ortaköy, Hagia Sophia Mosque, Galata Tower, the Palace of the Ottoman Sultans Dolmabahçe, explored the ancient quarters of Kuzkuncuk and Colourful Balat, and took the ferry that connects the Asian and European parts of the city.
A special symbolic point of the busy programme was a visit to the private the Rahmi M. Koç Museum, which is dedicated to the history of transport, industry and communications in Istanbul. The finalists felt the interconnectedness of past and future transport technology. And of course, a full cultural programme couldn't go without a cruise around the heart of Istanbul — the Bosphorus.
The highlight of the finalists' journey was a business conference with SWC Board representatives Alexey Sukhodoyev and Frantisek Solar, the company's top management. The partners were the first to get to know about SWC's new strategic directions in community transformation, marketing and effective sales technology.
The conference unveiled the new Smart World Community Adaptation and Training Platform, a marketplace for partners with practical educational and social tools collected from around the world.
«Our entire focus this year is to transform our global international community. As part of this strategy, we have launched the Adaptation and Training platform, and developed the SWC structure following the logic of companies such as Toyota, Apple, and Google. We will soon — implement solutions for new formats of interaction with partners and investors, because our community is a living organism. We want to hear all your suggestions for improvement, to be there for you when you need help. Today we, as a community of like-minded people, create history in the field of environmentally friendly technological solutions for society»— commented Alexey Sukhodoyev.
One of the significant results of the trip was the full recording of the courses for the Adaptation and Training Platform in 4 languages. SWC Board representatives Frantisek Solar and Alexey Sukhodoyev, SWC Dominican Republic Ambassador Olga Veronika Serokhvostova, Latin America Development Leader Anna Dorosh, Kyrgyzstan Curator and Top Expert Patila Ismailova, Kyrgyzstan partner Salima Batyrkanova — «Queen of cold contacts» as colleagues call her, recorded their courses.
In individual meetings with representatives of the Board, there was nominated a partner from Kyrgyzstan to open up a new region for SWC — Turkey.
The finalists of the second stage of the SWC CHAMPIONS CHALLENGE will have an equally busy programme. The second stage will finish on 14th of September.
