The participants of the Rubu' Qarn Fund, which focuses on the advancement of talented young people in the Arab Emirates, have visited the String Transport Testing Centre in Sharjah. The delegation consisted of more than 30 people.
The tour of the Centre began with the project headquarters in the UAE. The example of this building shows what the residential buildings of a linear city can be like. Its mock-up was a particular favourite of the guests.
The delegates were then presented with the flagship of the project, the high-speed model of the string transport. This vehicle can reach speeds of up to 500 km/h on intercity and international routes.
The highlight of the tour was a ride on the certified tropical Unicar. The guests were able to see the reliability and safety of the technology in action.
We are confident that the Testing Centre will inspire the delegates to develop their own projects, create innovations and find unusual solutions in science and technology.
