The Belarusian journal «International Exhibitions» has published an article on how the string technology can solve modern transport problems. We are sharing the main theses of the publication.
‒ The string transport runs on electricity. This transport consumes less electricity than other forms of electric transport. This is important, because generating electricity can harm the environment.
‒ The string flyover requires minimal land acquisition. Such track does not disturb the terrain, does not obstruct ground or surface water, and does not hamper the movement of people and animals.
‒ The string transport uses steel wheels. Unlike rubber wheels, they wear down much more slowly and emit fewer harmful substances when they are in motion.
‒ Due to its location above ground and its lightweight track structure, the string transport is easier to integrate into an already formed city than to build metro or to pave a road.
‒ String tracks can be built next to residential buildings because the transport will not create traffic jams and create dangerous situations for passengers and pedestrians.
‒ The string transport technology is suitable for all applications. For example, to provide a fast connection from the suburbs to the city centre, to connect parts of the city that are separated by a river, or even to pave a track in mountainous areas.
