Founder of the string transport project, Anatoli Unitsky, visited the construction site of Sharjah Testing Centre to personally inspect the installation of the anchor units on test track 4.
Anchor unit is a crucial part of the transport complex. This element bears most of the horizontal load from the string track up to 900 tons. The current phase of work, therefore, requires special attention from the project management.
Anatoli Unitsky inspected the anchor units and checked the quality of materials and places of joints. As a result, no deviations from the design intent were detected.
As a reminder: recently, on the supports of track 4 there have been completed the main concreting and exterior finishing works. Checking the anchor units brought the installation of the string rails one step closer. We look forward to more news from the UAE.
