A delegation from the Kingdom of Lesotho visited the UST, Inc. Centre in Sharjah. The delegation included His Majesty King Letsie III and his wife Queen Masenate Mohato Seeiso, as well as members of the Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho. The meeting took place as part of the delegation's visit to the global EXPO 2020 Dubai.
A personal meeting with the delegation at the EXPO was hosted by the General Designer of UST, Inc. Anatoli Unitsky.
At the UST, Inc. Centre, the royal delegation was shown a presentation of the string transport with the footage demonstrating the main technological advantages of the project.
While visiting the Centre, the King and Queen also personally tested the tropical Unicar, which recently underwent certification, and visited the control centre, from where the vehicles are controlled.
The delegation representatives also discussed with representatives of the Centre the possibility of introducing the string technology in Lesotho to connect the capital Maseru with the city of Durban, which is located in the east of South Africa.
