His Excellency Emmanuel Hategeka, Rwandan Ambassador to the UAE, has visited the Testing and Certification Centre of UST, Inc. in Sharjah. During a meeting with representatives of the Centre, the diplomat discussed the advantages of the string transport and the prospects for using the technology to transport goods in the Republic of Rwanda. It should be noted that there are numerous deposits of gold cassiterite and tungsten ore in this country.
To see for himself the safety of the technology, the Ambassador travelled 400 metres in the tropical Unicar and also visited the transport control office to see the equipment and software available there.
The reliability of the string transport in the UAE is also confirmed by the certification that the technology passed in September this year. As a reminder: the inspection was carried out by the independent organisation TUV SW Standardization Certification.
From the control room, you can simultaneously track the movement of up to 100 models of the string transport
In addition, Emmanuel Hategeka, was shown a high-speed model of the string transport. It is designed for long-distance travel, accommodates up to 6 passengers and allows speeds of up to 500 km/h. This vehicle has also recently undergone certification.
As of recently, all three types of the SkyWay transport have been presented in the UAE: urban, freight and high-speed.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador left an entry in the Centre's guest book. In the review, Emmanuel Hategeka wrote that he looks forward to implementing the technology in Africa and continuing to work with the company's management.
