On the website of the electronics manufacturer Lenovo there has appeared the information about the company's supplying its equipment to the UST, Inc. Centre in Sharjah. In particular, the Lenovo Think System DE2000H data storage arrays are already installed on the Testing site.
Lenovo Think System DE2000H is a data storage equipment that is characterized by a high level of performance and ease of use. The capacity of the DE2000H can reach 1.47 petabytes when installing 96 hard drives of 15.36 terabytes. The approximate cost of the array starts from $ 4800.
The new equipment from Lenovo will allow processing large amounts of data for automated and round-the-clock operation of the SkyWay transport on existing and future SkyWay tracks in the UAE.
The prospects for cooperation with Lenovo were explained by the General Designer of UST, Inc. Anatoli Unitsky:

As a reminder, a 400-metre test track has now been completed at the UST Centre, Inc. in Sharjah, where the tropical Unicar and container truck are being tested. Two more 2.4-km tracks are under construction. The first commercial SkyWay project is also scheduled to be operational by 2023.
