The closer the SkyWay presentation is at Expo 2020 in Dubai, the more materials about the project appear in the major media. This time, the footage of the string transport was shown on Romanian and American TV. Let us watch together at what the leading TV channels told us about.
Romanian TV about SkyWay
In Romania, the SkyWay transport was showed on Antena 1 TV channel in the Observator news program. The presenter talked about the advantages of the string technology that allow to make travel cheaper, more comfortable and safer.
In particular, there was highlighted in the video that the speed of the transport in the city would be up to 150 km/h, and outside the city - up to 500 km/h. At the same time, the SkyWay urban transport will be able to transport 10,000 passengers per hour.
In addition, the presenter revealed that the SkyWay models were being tested at present in Sharjah on a 400-metre track not only during the day but also at night. That is being done to test the performance of the transport systems in different conditions.
SkyWay on six US TV channels
Besides Romania, short videos about the SkyWay project have appeared on American television. The short reportages were aired on such channels as NBC (Wilmington), Fox News, Fox (Montana), ABC (Jackson), 47abc and CBS (Pittsburgh).
The presenters informed that SkyWay could solve the traffic congestion problem, praised the design of the vehicles and pointed out that the vehicles were currently being tested in the UAE.
This news reconfirms the global nature of the SkyWay project, which has the potential to develop not only in the Middle East or Europe but also in the USA.
