Indian news agency 24 News has released a reportage from the UST, Inc. Technology Testing and Certification Center in Sharjah. The news material showed footage of the string transport tests, as well as the interview with a representative from the Centre.

In particular, the representative of the Centre said that the track length for the first UST, Inc. targeted project could be about 6 km, and the track length for a possible project in the city of Khor Fakkan - 24 km.

The journalists of 24 News also got to know what difficulties the team had encountered in Sharjah during the first running tests of the transport. For example, it turned out that a lot of sand gets on the string rail, so there were installed special devices on the roof of the Unicar to blow that sand away.

In addition, the spokesman of the Centre noted the current problems with freight transportation in India, and said the company proposed to build a freight track in that country for transporting containers. The track could go from Mumbai to Chennai.

As a reminder: the recent reportage from the UST, Inc. Centre in Sharjah was also released by Khaleej Times. In that news material, the journalists tested the Unicar in action and again interviewed a representative of the Centre for comment about the development of the string transport in the UAE.

Numerous new videos from the UST Centre, Inc. in Sharjah proves the interest of the international media in the technology, and allows them to spread the word about the project to a wider audience even before Expo 2020 starts in Dubai.
