On 6 May, the «PRIME» news agency, which is part of the Russia Russia Today Group, issued a short review of the string transport and the latest achievements of the SkyWay project.
It is noted in the publication that the string transport excels the existing types of transport in environmental and safety terms and can be built in any climate and on any terrain. The cost savings of the string transport is mentioned separately: it is several times cheaper than the metro.
In addition to the technology review, the authors of the article described the latest events related to the SkyWay project: the presentation of a new edition of the book by A.E. Yunitskiy «String Transport Systems: On Earth and in Space» and the construction of the SkyWay Innovation Centre in the UAE, which started in September 2018.
