From 7 to 11 April, Singapore hosted the international exhibition TOC Asia 2019.

The employees of the CJSC «String Technologies» Irina Murog and Alexey Covshirco visited it to study the experience of foreign companies in container transportation, construction of ports and terminal facilities.

The international exhibition TOC (Terminal Operations Conference and Exhibition) has been held since 1995. Technology and service providers come together to showcase cutting-edge solutions to their customers. This year, the exhibition was held under the slogan «Automation| Digitization| Standardization. The impact of technologies on ports and terminals should not be underestimated».

The employees of the CJSC «String Technologies» Irina Murog and Alexey Covshirco talked to the representatives of companies from around the world, analyzed the current offers of the market and outlined a plan for future meetings.

We remind you that the SkyWay freight transport complex has a number of non-standard solutions which distinguish it from the existing alternatives.

For example, the Unitrans transport complex, resembling a conveyor, is actually a kind of continuous train: the loading belt in it moves on a wheel pair on a steel rail what increases stability and safety of cargo, and also minimizes energy losses.

Moreover, the external engine drive, that allows to build cargo complexes without restrictions on length, is used in the Unitrans. Finally, the rotating scheme of unloading the Unitrans makes it possible to save time on micrologistics, which on a large scale, saves time and money.

Among the possible applications of the Skyway freight transport complex are mining industry, bulk cargo delivery for metallurgy, chemical industry and much more. In the coming years, the Skyway Innovation Centre (SWIC) in Sharjah will demonstrate the Unicont: a cargo vehicle for the transportation of ISO-containers.
