Unitsky String Technologies Inc. presented uST solutions during the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Development of Kuzbass productive forces: history, modern experience, strategy of the future" held in Kemerovo on November 17-23. At the event, delegates from UST Inc. spoke about the opportunities for integrated development of the region through the application of uST transport and infrastructure complexes.
The conference brought together more than 12,000 representatives of business, science, and public authorities. 60 major Russian scientists, including 37 Members of state academies of sciences – Russian Academy of Education, Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences, Russian Academy of Arts, as well as 3 Vice Presidents and 16 Corresponding Members of the Russian Academy of Sciences were the curators.
Specialists from Unitsky String Technologies Inc. demonstrated uST transport and infrastructure solutions that offer new opportunities in passenger and freight transportation. Conference participants learned that uST complexes can be easily adapted to fulfill any logistic tasks. The complexes are characterized by high efficiency, safety, reliability and durability. In addition, they are more favorable in terms of construction and operating costs compared to other types of elevated transport.
Representatives of UST Inc. said that the design of the string rail flyover allows the route to be laid along a shorter trajectory. Due to the long span lengths between the supports, the route can be laid over a water barrier or other difficult terrain without the use of additional structures. In this case, operating costs will also be reduced.
