The Leningrad region authorities are interested in using the transport and infrastructure solutions offered by Unitsky String Technologies Inc. One of the possible projects — construction of an elevated rail-string flyover in the town of Murino and the village of Novoye Devyatkino. Proposals on the implementation of «Second Tier» transport were presented to the governor of the Leningrad Oblast, Alexander Drozdenko.
In order to estimate the cost of the uST complexes construction, the governor instructed the transport and urban planning committees to calculate the design model together with Unitsky String Technologies Inc. The priority areas include Kudrovo, Vsevolozhsk, Bugry, Novoselye and Novosaratovka.
«Leningrad Oblast together with its partners will work out a pilot concession agreement for line construction in one of the new building areas. For the pilot, we will choose a route with high passenger traffic and a busy traffic situation» — noted Alexander Drozdenko.
The municipality representatives are interested in the UST Inc. product, which will help relieve traffic congestion and reduce travel times. The company offers solutions in the form of uST complexes that allow rail electric vehicles to travel on a special flyover above the ground, avoiding accidents and traffic jams. At the same time, the above-ground nature of the uST track makes it possible to take an optimal route, which will reduce travel time and help to redistribute passenger traffic.
